My Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three (73) sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect. They (the Companions) asked: Allah's Messenger, which is that? Whereupon he said: It is one to which I and my companions belong. [Tirmidhi. 171]
The best people are those living in my generation, then those coming after them, and then those coming after (the second generation). [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, 3/219]
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)
The purpose of this website is to to present the right perspective in belief (Aqeedah), and action (Manhaj) in Islam. Also, to present the aqaid (beliefs) that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught his Companions, the Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them), and how it was understood by the first three generations of Muslims (the Sahabah, Taba'een and the Tabe' Taba'een). This includes comprehensive information on the different sects found in the Muslim Ummah, with their history, background, differences in beliefs and actions, deviations, psychology, refutations, etc. This is currently under development and updates will be posted regularly, Insha'Allah. |

IntroductionThe question sounds pretty simple, and to some, it may be unimportant. Its no surprise that most people are unaware of its significance and might give you a blank stare when you ask them this. Some might suggest 'He is omnipresent,' not really knowing what they say and how dangerous this can be. This article will, Insha'Allah, explain what this aspect of Aqeedah is all about. |
